Proper Nourishment
Heard on my way home on a Christian radio station—via the pulpit—something like, “This may offend you but you and I are rotten, filthy sinners!” One man’s case seems just until he’s cross examined. Proverbs, right? When I hear Jesus restore Peter, Jesus said, “Feed my sheep.” Not, “Beat my sheep!”
Additionally, proper Christian theology would show a conversion from “sinner” to “son/daughter”. Quite frankly, this has become troubling. I think many in the pulpit need to take a closer look at this issue and stop beating believers up. Just because a good amount of what is preached may be true & correct, this doesn’t excuse getting this part wrong & never changing direction. Saying this as if it were true humility & even getting some uncomfortable giggles from the flock isn’t cute; it’s disturbing.
Pure grace receives pure sonship. It’s not mixed sonship. The child has flesh, but the child is an entirely new creation within, and is not a sinner. Sinners are slaves to sin. ARE YOU A SINNER, OR A SON OR DAUGHTER? Once more I say, CHOOSE! Right believing leads to right living. Mixture is spoken against by the Risen Jesus. Do you really think it’s wise to MIX?

Your Part in His Plan
“…for I have made you the father of a multitude of nations.”
~ Genesis 17:5 ESV
Our Heavenly Father told Abraham what was up, right? What was Abraham’s part in this? To trust what God said; isn’t that correct?
In the same way, God has revealed in his Word the “old you” has been crucified at the Cross with Jesus. That was a long time ago, wasn’t it? Do you trust what God says, or are you still trying to handle what Jesus has already done for you?
Are you willing to receive it—in faith and walk in it—receiving this amazing gift from your Heavenly Father? He now calls you, “Son. Daughter.” Not sinner! You are his child. Old things have passed away. What say you?

Calls Out What is Not
Jesus is calling out what is not—as it already is. Will you turn the key on this?
Jesus handled the business of crucifying your old self on the Cross of Calvary. You are new, Christian! Do you struggle with this? Do you doubt it? It’s OK, we all have issues but God has made a way to put this identity issue behind.
How? He gave you his Spirit. He gave you a new heart when He performed a spiritual circumcision on it 2,000 years ago. It was waiting for you when you came to Jesus, at the Cross. Have you come to the Cross for your new heart, yet?
If so, it’s on! The LORD has given you a measure of faith. Are you applying it? Are you trusting in what He says? If so, then there is no old you. If not, there’s still no old you, only new—but you have yet to trust what God says.
Today is your day to grow in grace. Have you received the abundance of grace God is offering?

True Newness
Translating “flesh” as “sinful nature” on every occasion of scripture confuses God’s message—leaving the Christian ball-and-chained to a non-God-ordained “dual” identity. This is not receiving God’s abundance of grace and reigning in life, through Christ. Flesh is flesh and spirit is spirit. Christ’s new life offer entails the complete replacement of the old nature with a new nature; the divine nature. Be obedient and experience the “true” new life;-)
“Those who belong to Christ Jesus have nailed the passions and desires of their sinful nature to his cross and crucified them there.” ~ Galatians 5:24
“throw off your old sinful nature and your former way of life, which is corrupted by lust and deception.” ~ Ephesians 4:22
“Put on your new nature, and be renewed as you learn to know your Creator and become like him.”
~ Colossians 3:10

Out with the Old
Are you still walking along this journey with past regrets, shame, or even guilt? If so, you no longer need to live in such a way!
In the Person of Jesus Christ, God made a way for you to be out with the old and in with the new! That’s right! It’s supernatural and faith is at its center. Your Creator went to great lengths for you to have the power and privilege to walk in an entirely new life!
Whether you are born from above or not, Jesus Christ has accomplished a ton of stuff for you that cannot be purchased in this world. Isn’t that exciting news?
Have you considered trading in your old self for the new self? You are biblically permitted and even commanded to do so! The Lord knows just what you need and it isn’t anything old. He’s done and is doing a new thing! Are you part of it? Call upon Jesus for the answers. He’s happy to reveal the Kingdom to you, which includes a totally new YOU!

True Grace
Which “God” offers REAL grace? 1.) As an unsaved person, you confess to being a sinner & Jesus saves you and forgives every single sin, once and for all. OR… 2.) you confess that you’re a sinner & Jesus saves you and forgives every single sin, once and for all…but you aren’t forgiven of your sins today until you confess your sins of today. hmmm…
Then he adds: “Their sins and lawless acts I WILL REMEMBER NO MORE.” ~ Hebrews 10:17 (emphasis mine)
“For Christ DIED FOR SINS ONCE FOR ALL, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive by the Spirit,” ~ 1 Peter 3:18 (emphasis mine)
Astonishing! Amazing Grace…How Sweet the Sound…that saved a wretch…like me! I ONCE was LOST…However you see, times have changed…NOW I AM FOUND….USED TO BE BLIND…now, tho…u see…I SEE! It’s different now. This is the NEW COVENANT! That old covenant does not belong to you, if you are born again;-) “You knock me off of my feet now Jesus…HEEEEEEEEE-HOOOOOOOO!”
